According to Statistics South Africa, over 15 million South Africans live in poverty. South Africa's first democratic president, Nelson Mandela, recognised that only an education could change such a scenario when he stated that an "education is the greatest tool that one could use to change the world." However, the numbers show that over 80% of South African schools simply do not have enough textbooks for its learners. The Dlulisa Initiative is changing that.
